Theory of Change

Theory of change articulates the desired change that Vulnerable Basket wants to see by 2027 as per its Vision and Mission, these are the big picture changes we want to see among (Children, Elderly, youth, Women and people with Disabilities) and their families in central Uganda. In the coming 4 years we will actively work to achieve our mission; this goal is the benchmark we will use to measure our progress and impact.

Our aim is to empower (Children, Elderly, youth, Women and people with Disabilities) and their families and other vulnerable groups to maximize their potential and improve their standards of living through sustainable Livelihoods and economic empowerment, improved healthcare, education, sustainable agriculture, vocational skills, and Environmental conservation to curb climate change. Vulnerable Basket seeks to contribute to sustainable improvements in the socio- economic wellbeing of (Children, Elderly, youth, Women and people with Disabilities) and their families, as a basis for ensuring the dignity and rights of most vulnerable people in the country.

The organization believes that for this to happen, the following conditions are necessary:

2.Children, Elderly, youth, Women and people with Disabilities acquire necessary skills, knowledge and education
3.Improved access to and utilization of quality Health services

The organization with support of communication officer and technical field officers actively invest time in documentation and knowledge sharing about the expected results, outcomes and impact in publications, success stories regularly updating the website and using the other social media platforms for purpose of sharing knowledge within a broad stakeholder.

The Organization uses community Based approach in the delivery of interventions, Children, Elderly, youth, Women and people with Disabilities will be at the center of implementation.
